Wes Brown, the Former Manchester United and England defender, has been declared bankrupt, following his divorce saga.
It was gathered that His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) filed a bankruptcy petition against the ex England international at the end of February, 2023.
The High Court then confirmed the divorce action on 12th of April, 2023 and the order was made public earlier this week, freshreporters had gathered.
It could be noted that the 43-year-old earned roughly £50,000 a week while playing in the Premier League, Manchester United to be precise.
His bankruptcy comes barely a year after he split from his wife Leanne, who is 46 years old. She was a reality TV star on the show Real Housewives of Cheshire.
The now estranged couple, who have three children together, had tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Peckforton Castle near Tarporley, Cheshire, in the year 2009.
Wes Brown reportedly moved out of the home he shared with his wife, Leanne and their children Halle, Lilia, and Lola.
