Man Shows Debit Alert Extortion By A Police Officer

Nigerian Twitter user, @VarlenWest, a resident of Lagos state has accused Nigerian Lagos State Police Command of money extortion.

The Tweet didn’t state why he was arrested, he however claim that he was extorted of N25,000 Nigerina police of the Agege Police Division; N15,000 cash and N10,000 transfer, he stated.

According to the fund screenshot he shared online, the N10,000 was actually sent to one Zainab Amira Salisu on the 12th of March,2022.

The Twitter user said “I was extorted 25,000…15,000 cash and 10,000 through transfer by agege police officers,”

Reacting to the scenario by the Nigeria Police Force replied “Hello @VarlenWest, kindly reach the Nigeria Police Complaint Response Unit on any of the following numbers: +2348057000001, +2348057000002 or +2348057000003(SMS). They are on standby to resolve your complaint, please.”
