A 42-year-old man named Auwul Shaibu has been taken into custody by members of the Adamawa State Police Command on charges of raping his 9-year-old biological daughter.
The incident took place in the Kabak Mubi South local government district on Monday, March 11. The culprit, was captured when his wife Asmau Isa filed a report.
The suspect admitted to the crime over the course of the inquiry, although he put the responsibility on using drugs and alcohol excessively.
The Adamawa State Command’s Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, has ordered a thorough investigation and the suspect’s prosecution once it is over, the command spokeswoman, SP Nguroje, confirmed the incident to reporters. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
