Man Arrested For Brutal Killing Of Wife Over Cheating Allegations

In a shocking incident that has left the community of Ngabu in utter disbelief, a 27-year-old man identified as Mkwate Chimbizi has been apprehended by authorities for the brutal murder of his wife. The gruesome crime involved the cutting off of the victim’s breasts and removal of her private parts, followed by the beheading.

The suspect, Chimbizi, allegedly committed the heinous act due to suspicions of his wife, Luwiza Leonard, 23, being involved in an extramarital affair. South East Police Region spokesperson, Edward Kabango, confirmed the distressing incident in an official statement released on Friday, June 9, 2023.

Law enforcement officials were able to locate Chimbizi and effect his arrest on Thursday, June 8. Upon interrogation, the suspect led the police to a burial site where he had concealed his wife’s decapitated head, which was found in a highly decomposed state. Shockingly, Chimbizi confessed to throwing Luwiza’s genitalia and breasts into a pit latrine.

Investigations revealed that the couple had engaged in a heated argument, which tragically escalated into a violent physical altercation. Reportedly, the suspect struck Luwiza on the head with a stone, resulting in her immediate demise. Subsequently, Chimbizi is alleged to have used a panga to carry out the mutilation of her body.

The chilling incident occurred on June 3, 2023, leaving the community in a state of profound grief and shock. Authorities are currently conducting a search operation to locate the victim’s remaining body parts.

The suspect will face charges related to the brutal murder of his wife, as the investigation progresses and more evidence is gathered.
