Widely known Malaysian actress Michelle Yeoh clinched history as the first Asian woman to ever win the Best Actress award in the 95-year history of Oscars.
The Academy made this announcement via its Twitter handle, on Monday morning.
According to tweet read, “Of all the universes, we live in the one where Michelle Yeoh makes history as the first Asian woman to win the Best Actress Oscar—love that for us! #Oscars #Oscars95”
The Malaysian Actress won the award for her role in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once.’
