Legendary Italian Film Maker, Gina Lollobrigida Dies Has Passed On

Gina Lollobrigida, an Italian Actress and artist, has passed on at age 95.

The was a legend of the 1950s and 60s cinema, was dubbed ‘the most beautiful woman in the world’ during her reign.

Gennaro Sangiuliano, an Italian culture minister, who took to his twitter handle on Monday confirmed her demise.

Where he tweeted, “Farewell to a diva of the silver screen, protagonist of more than half a century of Italian cinema history. Her charm will remain eternal.”

Marca revealed that she began making films in Italy shortly after World War II happened, as the country began to promote a stereotypical concept of Mediterranean beauty as buxom and brunette on the big screen.
