Leaving Mavin Records was the best decision for me —- Korede Bello

Former Mavin Records signee, Korede Bello spoke about life as an artiste and life after leaving Mavin Records.

He said,
“I started to feel like a product that is just there to make money and that’s why I lęft Mavin Records. “

“I am no longer in the conversation like when I was in Mavin but I’m making more money than when I was there.”

“Alot of people say I fell off after I left Mavin Records but that’s not what happened. I just decided to take a break from music because I was tired of being used a product to market songs. “

“When I lęft Mavin, I reached a point in my life where I needed to leave from a Caterpillar that a butterfly and explore the world. “

“I wanted to reconnect with myself because I was at a stage where I started to feel a Mavin product, I started to feel like something that’s just being sold, something that’s just there to make money and I wass tired of the exploîtation. “

“You löose sight of what matters when you’re bũsy chasîng after hîts because the label doesn’t actually care about what you put out or how you feel but all they care about is the money and they’ll leave you empty handed at the end of it all. “
