A young man who has been identified as the brother of Zamfara State Assembly member Hon. Nasiru Mohammad Maru has been released.
According to reports, the victim was kidnapped by armed robbers while he was walking home from school.
It’s still unclear what exactly happened during the kidnapping and release. Whether a ransom was paid to ensure the young man’s release is still unknown.
The Maru North Constituency representative, Hon. Maru, has not yet made a public word about his brother’s experience.
