The Lagos state government, in collaboration with the Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA), embarked on an environmental sanitation exercise in the Ajeromi-Ifelodun local government area on Sunday, 28th of July, 2024.
Sharing videos, the Chief Executive Officer of Lagos State Waste Management Authority, Muyiwa Gbadegesin wrote:
“Earlier today, the #Lawma_gov team and I visited Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA for an environmental sanitation exercise along with the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources led by Engr. Kunle Rotimi-Akodu, the Special Adviser on Environment, Dr. Omobolaji Gaji, Permanent Secretary (Office of Environmental Services), and Engr, Mahmoud Adegbite, Permanent Secretary (Office of Drainage Services).
We interacted with the Baale of the community, the CDA/CDC executive, the Babalolja of Alayibiagba Market, and representatives of the local government to find solutions to issues related to environmental management.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
