The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has reported an accident involving a 40-foot container truck at Iyana Iba.
The incident which occurred at the first turning before the Techno Oil Filling Station was said to be a result of a brake failure.
LASTMA officers are currently at the scene, managing the situation and ensuring the safety of commuters, and have confirmed that a tow truck is on the way to clear the vehicle and restore normal traffic flow.
This was made known in a video on the agency’s X page on Sunday, 2nd of March 2025.
The caption reads:
“A lone accident of a 40ft loaded containerized due to brake failure at Iyana Iba first turning, before Techno Oil Filling Station, inward LASU Igando Road, Iyana Iba. Police officers are on the ground, and a Tow truck has been contacted.
