LASG Commences Structural Integrity Test On Banana Island Buildings Of Lagos State

The Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory has revealed that it has commenced structural integrity test on the building structures under construction in the Banana Island area of the State.

The agency made this revelation in a post shared on their Instagram handle on Friday.

According to the agency, the test is as a result of the seven-storey building under construction that collapsed on Wednesday on 1st Avenue, Banana Island, Lagos State.

The agency wrote, “Important Information. Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory, LSMTL commences immediate Non-Destructive (structural integrity) Test, NDT of the adjoining buildings at the Banana Island building collapse site.

“Lagos State Materials Testing Laboratory Initiating structural integrity test on the buildings at the Banana Island.”
