Officials of the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency have resealed the 10POT Night Club at 2A Admiralty Way in Lekki area of the state after the arrest of 11 employees who assaulted LASEPA operatives.
This was conveyed in a statement issued out by the spokesperson for the state’s Ministry of the Environment, Kunle Adeshina, via his X page on Sunday.
Adeshina said that the 11 nabbed employees who assaulted LASEPA officials have been taken into custody pending arraignment before a competent court of law.
Meanwhile, 11 employees, comprising four males and seven females, of 10POTS Night Club were arrested after brutalising the state officials who had earlier sealed the premises for environmental infractions, freshreporters media reports.
Attempts to reseal the premises were violently resisted by the employees, inflicting bodily harm on state officials.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Sunday, 15th of October, 2023 also vowed to prosecute all 11 employees of 10POTS Night Club in Lekki who assaulted officials of LASEPA. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
