The Lagos State Waste Management Authority, LAWMA in collaboration with Kick Against Indiscipline, on Sunday, 5th of November, 2023 sealed Ogba shopping mall over a filthy environment, and poor waste disposal, among other environmental violations.
The Spokesperson for the state’s Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Kunle Adeshina, made this known on his X handle on Sunday.
Sharing photos from the exercise, he wrote,
“Operatives from the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) and KAI acting on the directives of HC MOE&WR on Sunday, November 5 sealed up the OGBA SHOPPING MALL beside Sunday Market.
“The mall was closed on accounts of filthy environment, Indiscriminate dumping of refuse, lack of waste bin and failure to comply with the rules of Lagos State Waste Management Authority.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
