The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO) has sealed a house in the Abule Egba axis of the state for dumping wastewater on the road and breaking the government’s rules.
This was disclosed in a post by Lagos Commissioner of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokubo Wahab, on Tuesday, 17th of September, 2024.
The post reads:
“The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO) Tuesday 17th September 2024 re-sealed a residential property at 43, Adetoun Crescent, off Olaniyi Street, Abule Egba for unabated discharge of Wastewater onto the road and breaking of government seal.
“All arrested offenders will prosecuted in accordance with the provisions of the law.
“The Agency reiterates its commitment to ensuring compliance with the prevailing environmental Laws of the State”. [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
