The Lagos state government has commenced the removal of illegal structures erected beside the Bariga – Gbagada Drainage Channel.
This is coming after the expiration of the eviction notice issued to owners of makeshift shelters in the vicinity.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for the Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Wednesday, 10th of July, 2024.
The post reads:
