Men of the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources have removed illegal structures built on drainages along Westwood Estate’s primary channel, Badore, as part of the measures to deflood the area.
This was conveyed in statements by the state Commissioner of the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, on Thursday, 18th of July, 2024.
He wrote:
“Yesterday (Wednesday, 17/07/2024), operatives from the Drainage Enforcement and Compliance Department of Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources #LasgMOE commenced the removal of drainage contravening structures along Westwood Estate primary channel, Badore, as part of deflooding measures in the area.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
