The Lagos State Government has announced the postponement of the planned closure of the PWD Rail Crossing originally scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2025.
The new closure date is Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
According to a statement on the Lagos State Government official X handle, the rescheduling is aimed at giving motorists more time to prepare and adjust their travel plans ahead of the closure.
The statement also confirmed that the alternative routes earlier announced remain unchanged and will still apply once the closure takes effect.
