The Lagos State Government, through the Ministry of Home Affairs, on Monday, 11th of March, 2024, commenced the distribution of food packs across various ministries, departments, and agencies aimed at supporting Muslims during Ramadan.
The Lagos state Government made this known on its X page on Monday.
The statement reads:
“Ramadan Season: In a significant initiative aimed at supporting the Muslims during the holy month of Ramadan, the Lagos State Government, via its Ministry of Home Affairs, has commenced the widespread distribution of food packs across various State Ministries, Departments and The gesture is designed to ensure that Muslim employees within the state’s public service have access to necessary sustenance as they observe this important period of fasting and reflection.”
