The Special Adviser to the Lagos State Governor on Transportation, Sola Giwa, has declared the introduction of a toll-free number for the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) to enhance service delivery and improve traffic management.
Giwa, announced this via his X page on Tuesday, 9th of July, 2024
He wrote:
“For better service delivery to the good people of Lagos, I hereby declare a toll-free number for LASTMA. This dedicated line will ensure faster response times, enhanced traffic management, and improved safety on our roads. Whether you need to report an incident, seek assistance, or get real-time traffic updates, we’re just a call away!
“Together, let’s make Lagos roads safer and more efficient”. said Giwa.
“The Call Centre, equipped with toll-free lines, will have over 10 responders dedicated to addressing traffic management issues and complaints from motorists. We will introduce dedicated toll-free phone lines for individuals to report any road-related incidents or emergencies.
“Additionally, the Call Centre will accommodate communication in English, Pidgin, and Yoruba. Giwa highlighted the importance of monitoring and prioritizing feedback, particularly in addressing instances of officer misconduct.
“It will also include a Walk-in Complaint Centre, a new website, a Whistleblower Application, and an upgraded LASTMA Department of Statistics, Research, and Data.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
