The Lagos State Government has announced plans to change traffic patterns at night on the Sura Ramp leading to Osborne.
This is to help with asphaltic laying of the section of the road.
The road repair is scheduled for Wednesday, 21st of August, between the hours of 10.00pm and 4.00am of Thursday, 22nd August.
This was made known via a statement by the Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi on Tuesday, 20th of August 2024.
The statement reads:
“The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion plan on Sura Ramp inward Osborne to facilitate the asphaltic laying of the section of the road.
“The repair work is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, 21st August, 2024 between 10.00 pm and 4.00 am on Thursday, 22nd August, 2024.
“To manage the traffic inflow to the affected section during the repair works, Motorists from the Third Mainland Bridge will not be able to turn right to access Osborne, they will move straight to Obalende or Onikan to continue with their journeys.
“Similarly, Motorists from Sura will not be able to access the ramp, they will turn right to connect Onikan and continue their journeys.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
