The Lagos Ministry of Environment and Water Resources men have started the cleaning, maintenance dredging and evacuation of silts from the System 156 Channel (Up Stream), Alpha Beach road to prevent flooding.
The Commissioner of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, made this known in video from the operations on his X page, on Saturday, 6th of July, 2024.
He wrote:
“Operatives of Drainage Maintenance Department from Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources #LasgMOE continued with the cleaning/ de flooding, maintenance dredging & evacuation of silts from System 156 Channel (Up Stream), Alpha Beach Road on Friday 05/07 /2024 to prevent flooding in the axis.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
