The Lagos state government has announced a night traffic diversion for the installation of a truck barrier at Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge by the Fire Station.
The traffic diversion is said to be between the hours of 10.00 pm on Saturday, 5th of October, and 5.00 am on Sunday, 6th of October, 2024.
This was made known via a statement by the State Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, on Thursday, 3rd of October, 2024.
The statement reads:
“The Lagos State Government has announced a night traffic diversion for the installation of a truck barrier at Ojuelegba Flyover Bridge by Fire Station, between 10.00 pm on Saturday, 5th October and 5.00 am on Sunday, 6th October, 2024.
“Consequently, motorists are advised to use the diversion route below during the nighttime installation of the barriers;
Motorists from Eko Bridge, Costain and Iponri inbound Ojuelegba are advised to use the Service Lane from the National Stadium gate to link Barracks to access their desired destinations.
“The Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi implored Motorists to be patient as the brief closure of the bridge is planned for night time as part of traffic management strategy to avert further accidents and loss of lives.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
