The Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has hailed the youth of the state for their energy, creativity, and potential in shaping a Lagos that reflects their dreams.
He said this in commemoration of International Youth Day 2024, which he shared in a post on his X handle on Monday, 12th of August, 2024.
In the post, the governor described the youths as the lifeblood of the state, leading the way towards progress.
He wrote:
“Today, being #InternationalYouthDay, I want to take a moment to celebrate the remarkable energy, creativity, and potential of our youth in Lagos.
“You are the lifeblood of our state, leading the way towards progress and crafting a brighter future for everyone.
“Together, we’ll shape a Lagos that embodies your dreams.
“Your passion and resilience inspire me daily. I am steadfast in my commitment to you—we will keep working to create opportunities, equip you with essential skills, and nurture your aspirations.
