Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos Stae, has debunked inviting Igbo business leaders to a dinner and one-on-one meeting.
Gboyega Akosile, the chief press secretary to the governor, via his Instagram handle on Monday.
He shared the invitation card that went viral on social media on Monday following the presidential election result that came in Favour of his Bola Tinubu counterpart, Peter Obi of the Labour Party.
He shared the invitation and wrote, “This is fake. Please ignore it.”
The invitation card reads, “ You are cordially invited to A Dinner & One-on-One Interaction With the Executive Governor of Lagos State MR. BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU & IGBO CAPTAINS OF INDUSTRY. Sunday 5th March, 2023. Time 4:00pm. (VENUE; Balmoral Convention Center, Federal Palace Hotel, Ahmadu Bello way, Victoria Island, Lagos)”
