KUJE PRISON: Outrage As Netizens Slam Buhari Question Intelligence System On Twitter Platform

Social media users has trailed a tweet from the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), on the terror attack that befell Kuje prison, in Abuja, Tuesday night, 5th of July, 2022.

The Nigeria president, Buhari in the tweet shared from his verified twitter handle expressed his sadness over the terror attack and questioned the intelligence system of the country.

President Buhari sharing the tweet said, “Saddened by the attack on the Medium Security Custodial Centre, Kuje. I am disappointed with the intelligence system. How can terrorists organize, have weapons, attack a security installation and get away with it? I am expecting a comprehensive report on this shocking incident.”

Netizens dragging the Nigerian Commander of the Armed Forces, Ikenna Onyebuchi, one of the tweep said, “It is so weird that the c-in-c is asking this question on Twitter.

“I hope the security agencies will also reply on Twitter so we can follow their gbas gbos.”

Another tweep, Alarmed Morris Monye said, “Nigerians really wasted eight years of their lives. The commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces (Land, Air and sea) asking us on Twitter how attack take happen. Eight full years wasted.”

Also Cedric Dakoru tweeted, “You should be disappointed in yourself as the C-in-C first. You’ve failed this country and you’re the worst president ever.”

The Ex Kano governor aide, Salihu Tanko Yakasai also tweeted, “It took you years to move from being shocked to being disappointed, this attack and that of your convoy is a sign that we are in deep trouble and at this point, it’s safe to say you are the worst commander in chief in the history of this country. Mr President, do your job please.”

According to the minister of defence, the attack on kuje prison in Abuja led to the escape of inmates, including Boko haram members.
