The Kuje prison attackers burnt down vehicles, pulled down prison walls in Abuja.
The attack which struck the area in the late hours of Tuesday 5th of July, 2022 led to the free of Bokoharam members and other criminals in the Kuje prison of Abuja.
According to the Minister of Defence, Major General Bashir Magashi (retd.), he said over 600 inmates were freed the facility alongside 64 Boko haram members.
While investigation is still on going, the defence minister has urged the freed inmates and other Boko haram members to return back to the facility.
