Kora Obidi Laments ‘Scarcity of Good Men’ in Candid Talk on Single Motherhood

Nigerian dancer and singer Kora Obidi has ignited online conversation after opening up about the challenges of dating as a single mother, describing what she calls a noticeable “scarcity of good men.”

In a candid video, the entertainer shared her personal observations about the dating scene without holding back.

“You know what we don’t talk about? We don’t talk about the scarcity of good men. It’s until you’re a single mother that you see that there’s a scarcity of good men,” she said.

Kora, who described herself as a “freaking superstar” with “18 million followers” and an “international global” presence, explained that despite her visibility and status, finding a quality partner hasn’t been easy.

“For me, I’m a freaking superstar! 18 million followers! International global superstar! I see maybe one or two good men in a year, and they’re all taken,” she stated.

She went further to suggest that many of the “good ones” are snapped up early. “A good man is taken at 16, 17. The women already know that’s a good man, they’ve already trapped him,” she added.

According to her, men who remain single into their later years often raise red flags. “You see the ones that are there up to 50, they never marry,” she said.
