Kizz Daniel Contradicts Shettima’s Statement That Buga Song Is Nigeria’s Second Anthem

Renowned Nigerian singer, Kizz Daniel has contra-vented Vice President Kashim Shettima’s assertion that his hit song, ‘Buga,’ is close to becoming Nigeria’s second national anthem.

Kizz Daniel instead declared that the song is in fact the anthem of the entire continent of Africa.

FRESHREPORTERS NEWS recalls that in an interview recently, Shettima stressed the global appeal of Nigerian art and culture by pointing out that Kizz Daniel and Tekno’s song ‘Buga’ was almost turning Nigeria’s second national anthem.

Reacting to a viral interview clip on X, Kizz Daniel thanked Shettima for that remark.

Though, Kizz Daniel clarified that the song is an anthem of the continent, not Nigeria alone.

He wrote: “Actually, it is the continent’s anthem. Thank you, Vice President Kashim Shettima”
