Joshua Rogers, Channels Television reporter, has regained his freedom after being kidnapped from his home in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
The journalist was kidnapped from his residence in Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor area of Port Harcourt on Thursday, April 11, and dragged away violently in a car with the Channels Television logo. He was freed at 10 p.m. on Friday, April 12, without any injuries.
In a short statement, the television station’s management announced Mr. Rogers’ release. The statement reads:
“Channels Television reporter, Joshua Rogers, who was abducted last night in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, has been freed. We thank our viewers and all those who expressed concern over the unfortunate incident.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
