The Kano state governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has visited 95 children at the state orphanage home and promised to take full responsibility for their care, including their education from primary to university, healthcare, feeding, and other needs throughout his time in office.
This was disclosed via the official X page of the Kano State Governor on Wednesday, 2nd of October 2024.
The post reads:
“As part of Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary Commemoration in Kano, I had a special lunch with the 95 children presently under the care of the State Orphanage Home, since the loss of their biological parents.
“While there, I announced the assumption of full responsibility for all the 95 orphans living in the facility, taking care of their education from primary to tertiary levels, healthcare services, feeding and other social needs throughout my tenure.
