Six people were detained by Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (KAI) officers in Bolade Oshodi, while six more were detained in the Ketu neighborhood of Lagos for refusing to utilize the pedestrian bridge and sleeping on the bridge, respectively.
This was revealed in a post on Thursday, April 11, on the X account of Tokunbo Wahab, the Lagos State Commissioner for the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources.
He wrote: “During the early morning monitoring of pedestrian bridges across the state, officials of #LAGESCOfficial (KAI) apprehended 6 miscreants at Bolade Oshodi who were sleeping on the bridge thereby preventing people from using the facility.
“6 other persons were apprehended at Ketu for refusing to use the pedestrian bridge and accusing the KAI officials of doing illegal duty of working during the holiday.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]
