JUST IN: FG Approves Salary Increase For Civil Servants

The federal government has approved a salary rise of between 25 and 35 percent for civil servants on the remaining six consolidated salary structures. 

The national salaries, incomes and wages commission’s (NSIWC) chief of press, Emmanuel Njoku, made the announcement about the pay hike in a statement on Tuesday, the eve of Workers’ Day.

According to the announcement, the rise will be implemented on January 1, 2024.

Head of Press at the National Salaries, Incomes and Wages Commission (NSIWC), Emmanuel Njoku, announced at a briefing in Abuja on Tuesday.
