Jorginho inked a new short-term deal with Arsenal declaring he “feels he has more to do” at club.
Jorginho was an unwanted addition at first, but after making 51 appearances, he established himself as an important part of Mikel Arteta’s team.
“I’m really, really happy to stay, because it’s a privilege to be a part of this family,” the Italian said. “My family is happy, we are really well settled and I feel that I have more to do
“I think it’s been really positive, because I felt part of something big straight away. The way I felt involved and how I felt really in a good place. It’s not always like that, so when you feel something like this, it’s something important.”
Jorginho’s original deal was set to expire this summer since Arsenal decided to exercise their option to activate a one-year extension. The Gunners, on the other hand, were eager to pay the Italian and put up a new contract that would have reflected his present position at the team. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
