Iyabo Ojo, a talented nollywood actress has called out the management of Chrisland Schools in Lagos state over the allegation that Whitney Adeniran, who is one of their students, died of electrocution during the school inter-house sport at the Agege Stadium.
According to a statement issued out by the school management, it revealed that it is in their records that Whitney had complained about not-too-buoyant health and they immediately contacted her parents.
According to a WhatsApp voice note that went viral, purportedly from a student in the school, claimed that Whitney died of electrocution and not of a prior health problem.
However, blowing hot, the nollywood actress took to her Instagram handle and called out the school for the truth saying, “#chrislandinsta You need to come out & tell Whitney’s parents the truth about their daughter’s death. The negligence from your school is appalling.
“There is a Whatsapp audio circulating that she died as a result of electrocution. Can you confirm or deny? Did you not vet the vendors at your event to make sure they came with child proof equipment? You knew the child was dead before sending her to a ‘health centre’ and sent the mother on a wild goose chase to look for her child without accompanying her.
“The actual audacity to be irresponsible. The fact that you went ahead with the event when one of your students just died reeks of a lack of empathy. #jidesanwoolu #nigerianpoliceforce Kindly look into this urgently.”
