A Nigerian man has expressed outrage after the Delta State government’s decision to demolish his building and others in Asaba.
On Monday, May 13, the Delta State State Taskforce on Recovery of Government Lands started demolishing unauthorized buildings erected on Dennis Osadebay University property in Anwai-Asaba.
The houses were demolished after the unlawful property owners were given notice to leave.
The man said in an video that he started building his construction in November of last year and has already spent more than N100 million.
He maintained that prior to the destruction, the state administration had not consulted the property owners. [CONTINUE READING HERE]
