Some of the Itsekiri groups of people today (Thursday), staged a peaceful protest on the streets of Warri, Delta State, to agitate the chairmanship of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC to their side.
The itseriki pressure Congress began their peaceful protest early morning today, 7:00am.
The people held placards and other protesting materials expressing their dissatisfaction that despite being the ethnic group in Delta State with the biggest oil and gas production, no Itsekiri person had ever been appointed head of the intervention agency.
