Israel Shuts Down Al Jazeera Office Over Reports On Hamas War

The Israeli government has given the approved some new rules that will shut down Al Jazeera’s office in Israel. They might even take away all their equipment.

They say Al Jazeera’s reporting is causing harm to Israel’s national security.

The Israeli government claims that Al Jazeera is spreading propaganda for Hamas in both Arabic and English to people worldwide.

Al Jazeera has denied these allegations, but they haven’t responded to this latest move by the Israeli government.

Al Jazeera is based in Qatar and is one of the major news networks covering what’s happening in Gaza, Israel, and southern Lebanon.

Call for Humanitarian Aid to Palestinians in Israel-Hamas Crisis

Meanwhile, a Nigerian Islamic organization, the Supreme Council for Shari’ah in Nigeria (SCSN), has urged the Federal Government to send much-needed relief materials to Palestinians who are facing severe shortages of food, clothing, medicine, and essential supplies.

The President of the Council, Sheikh Abdur Rasheed Hadiyyatullah, made this appeal during a press conference held in Abuja. He also called upon Nigerian humanitarian organizations and religious institutions to come to the aid of the distressed Palestinian population.

The Council’s plea extends to all members of the community, regardless of their faith, urging them to offer special prayers to invoke divine assistance for the Palestinians and other oppressed groups worldwide.

Sheikh Hadiyyatullah emphasized the urgency of the situation, stating, “The Federal Government of Nigeria, on behalf of its diverse population, should promptly provide relief materials to the besieged Palestinians.

The ongoing tragedy in Palestine not only represents a violation of human rights but also exposes the inadequacies of global institutions established after World War II to prevent tyranny against humanity.”

In his address, the cleric also highlighted the need for the Nigerian government to follow the example of South Africa, where both the government and opposition party condemned the actions of the Israeli state.
