Popular streamer IShowSpeed has explained why he is not collaborating with other content creators during his highly publicized Africa tour. He emphasized that the tour’s primary goal is not to feature fellow influencers, but to authentically showcase the continent’s diverse cultures to his global audience.

Speed stated that each leg of his journey is meticulously pre-planned and time-sensitive, with a schedule curated by his team to highlight specific cultural experiences. The focus, he says, is on “everyday people who are rarely seen, street performers with real talent, and local communities,” aiming to give exposure to individuals without existing platforms.

He argued that many creators requesting collaborations already have their own substantial followings. Speed stressed he will not cancel planned cultural visits arranged by local communities simply to accommodate influencers, as the central mission is to “put African culture on display for the world,” not to center the tour around content creators.
