Sean Penn, one of the United States of America actor and director, has disclosed that he will premiere a documentary he filmed in Kyiv city of Ukraine featuring Volodymyr Zelensky, the Ukrainian President, at the Berlin film festival scheduled to hold in February 2023, next month.
It was gathered that the 73rd-annual Berlinale, as the February 16-26 event is widely known, will shine a spotlight on the current war between Russia and Ukraine which will mark the first anniversary invasion of Ukraine.
Carlo Chatrian, Who is the Festival co-director revealed to newsmen that the film was shot under “very difficult circumstances”.
Sean Penn, who is a two-time Oscar award winner, was in Kyiv city to shoot the documentary in late February 2022 when the Russian invasion just began.
