The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has announced the promotion of thirty-eight (38) officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) to office of Assistant Controllers General (ACG).
He disclosed this via a statement on his X handle on Friday, 6th of December 2024, stating that for the past eighteen months, over fifty thousand (50,000) officers across all the paramilitary agencies has been promoted.
The statement reads:
“Yesterday, thirty-eight (38) officers of the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS) were decorated as Assistant Controllers General (ACG).
“This is consequent of the promotion of over fifty thousand (50,000) officers across all the paramilitary agencies within the last eighteen months.
“In my charge, I urged them to remain loyal to the nation, encouraging them to join President #officialABAT (GCFR) on his #RenewedHope mission where the priority is to hand on to our children a banner without stain.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
