Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, on Monday participated in the Constitution Review Legislative Dialogue on National Security Architecture at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Abuja.
Accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, Tunji-Ojo joined key stakeholders at the high-level forum with the theme: “Nigeria’s Peace and Security: The Constitutional Imperatives.”
The event was jointly convened by the House of Representatives Committee on the Review of the Constitution and the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
The Minister in a post on his X handle, on Monday June 16 said:
“Today, at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Abuja, in the company of the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, I attended the Constitution Review Legislative Dialogue On National Security Architecture, themed “Nigeria’s Peace and Security: The Constitutional Imperatives.”
“The event was jointly organized by the House of Representatives Committee on the Review of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA).
“At the event, we engaged with top security chiefs, lawmakers, heads of government agencies, legal and policy experts, civil society organizations, and community leaders towards inspiring key legislative decisions and policy reforms aimed at enhancing national security.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
