Interior Minister, NIS boss hold demo session ahead of launching of automated passport application

The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo alongside the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, on Saturday, held a demo session with key stakeholders and development partners of the service.

During the session, the automated passport application process was unveiled, and was scheduled for launch on Monday, 8th of January, 2024.

The Minister of Interior shared photos on his X handle on Sunday, 7th of January, 2024.

He wrote:

“Yesterday, alongside the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Mrs Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, I held a demo session with key stakeholders and development partners, presenting the automated passport application process set to launch on Monday, January 8, 2024. During the session, we welcomed constructive criticism to enhance and improve the system.
