Umar Mohammed Bago, The All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in Niger State, on Wednesday, 10th of August, 2022 stated that he would join security operatives to patrol to ensure lasting peace returns back to the state.
Bago, the candidates revealed at the strategic security meeting that was held in Minna, the state capital. He added that he is not one of the thugs or hoodlum and has never been.
According to him “I am saying it loud and clear that anyone caught disrupting the peace of our state and it’s people should be decisively dealt with according to the provision of the law and I’m prepared to support the security agencies to ensure that the menace of hooliganism is permanently curbed on our streets. I have said it, I will personally join the police to patrol our streets to ensure the success of nipping in the bud this madness.
“I am not a thug, I have never been a thug and will never be a thug. Therefore, I will not be a part of all these disturbances of law abiding citizens.” He said
