The Nigerian INEC, Independent National Electoral Commission has announced that it will respond to demands for voters registration.
The INEC chairman, Mahmood Yakuku made this promise today, Saturday 11th of June, 2022 at the YouthVoteCount2 in Lagos state that it promised to extend the voters registration exercise.
Recall that the Freshreporters reported that political awareness concert was organised in Lagos state which aim is to encourage youth to participate in Nigerian election.
Yakubu Mahmood in a post shared on his social media platform today, has assured the Nigerians that their votes will count in the coming election.
According to him , “We have heard your requests loud and clear. You will soon hear from us on extension of CVR registration.
“Please assure me that you will register, pick your PVCs and vote. I also assure you that your votes will count”.
The voters registration exercise is expected to stop on the 30th of June 2022.
