The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condemned a violent attack on a Hindu temple in Canada, where a consular event was taking place.
Modi described the attack which took place at the Hindu Sabha Mandir in Brampton, Ontario, as “deliberate” and a “cowardly attempt to intimidate Indian diplomats in Canada”.
The PM condemned this act in a terse statement he shared via his X handle on Monday, 4th of November 2024.
He wrote:
“I strongly condemn the deliberate attack on a Hindu temple in Canada. Equally appalling are the cowardly attempts to intimidate our diplomats. “
“Such acts of violence will never weaken India’s resolve. We expect the Canadian government to ensure justice and uphold the rule of law.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>
