In his Eid al-Adha message, President Bola Tinubu conveyed his commitment to addressing the challenges facing Nigeria, assuring the nation that he is working tirelessly to provide solutions. Tinubu emphasized that the decisions made by his administration thus far will bring about economic reform and eliminate obstacles to growth.

Joining Muslims in Nigeria and around the world in celebrating Eid-el-Kabir, President Tinubu expressed gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to witness another Eid. He called upon Nigerians to remember those who are less fortunate while reveling in the joyous occasion.

Eid-el-Kabir, marking the end of religious activities spanning the first 10 days of the Islamic month of Dhul Hijjah, enjoins Muslims to exhibit mercy and compassion towards their fellow human beings. Tinubu highlighted that the festival exemplifies sacrifice and complete obedience to Allah, drawing upon the remarkable action of Prophet Ibrahim in offering his only son, Ismail, as a sacrifice.

President Tinubu stressed the importance of emulating Prophet Ibrahim’s values, which include unwavering devotion to Allah, tolerance, patience, perseverance, selflessness, love, and compassion. He urged Nigerians to multiply good deeds by demonstrating kindness towards their fellow Muslims and others, particularly by supporting the weak and vulnerable in their communities. By doing so, they would exemplify the virtues of their faith.

Acknowledging the challenges faced by the nation, including the struggling economy and simmering security issues, Tinubu reassured Nigerians that these challenges are not insurmountable. He assured the populace that he and his team are diligently working to develop solutions, citing the initial decisions taken to reform the economy and remove barriers to growth.

President Tinubu encouraged Nigerians to embrace the present challenges while approaching the future with vigor and renewed hope, expressing confidence that a better and brighter tomorrow awaits the nation.
