I’m back to being a boy – James Brown says amid financial strûggles

Popular Nigerian crossdresser James Brown has announced that he is temporarily stepping away from his female persona due to financial difficulties.

In a post on his Instagram handle on Friday, 14th of March 2025 Brown appealed to his followers for support, stating that he needs assistance with advertisements and promotions to sustain himself.

The social media personality also revealed his aspiration to further his education, disclosing that he requires approximately N30 million for tuition fees alone.

He said,

“Many people have been asking James, is it true you need help? I actually do. I need all the ads and promotions. In fact, I have turned to a boy right now. I have reached out to some friends. If you want to support, nothing is too small.

“Don’t come laugh at someone who’s trying to put everything together to go back to school.”

His announcement has sparked mixed reactions from netizens, with some questioning his decision to study abroad while others offered words of encouragement.
