‘I’m Back, Stronger’, Incarcerated Human Right Lawyer Tweets After Release, Declares His Return

Inibehe Effiong, the human right lawyer who was forcefully sent to prison for one month by the Chief Judge Ekaette Obot of Akwa Ibom State, for contempt in the court of law of, has been released.

After his release, the human right lawyer took to his social media handle (twitter) to declare his return and to to state his commitment to fighting the forces of oppression in the country.

According to him “I am back, stronger and more determined to confront the forces of oppression and to continue to speak nothing but the hard truth to the faces of the oppressors of our people. I feel sorry for those who thought they can break my spirit by incarcerating me.”
