Ifeanyi Okowa, the Governor of Delta state and the running of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar has mourned the honorable, Sunday Zakka who passed before the general election.
Hon. Sunday Zakka had died a car accident towards the presidential election.
In an emotional message, Okowa noted the deceased as a true pillar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP. Zakka was the party’s chairman in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
He said, “I am devastated to hear of the passing of Hon. Sunday Zakka. He was a true pillar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in our Federal Capital Territory, and his dedication to the party will be sorely missed. “
Sending condolences to his family, the Delta state Governor said, “It’s heartbreaking to think that after years of hard work and sacrifice, his life was cut short in a tragic car accident. My deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rest in peace, Hon. Sunday Zakka.”
