Kemi Badenoch, leader of the United Kingdom (UK) Conservative Party, has said that if she wanted to live in Nigeria, she would have moved back to the West African country.

Speaking in the latest episode of The Free Press, she said:

“If you don’t defend your culture, it will disappear. When people come to your country, they should want to be a part of that country. We are not a hotel or a dormitory for people who just want to make money & leave. “

“This is our home & we need to look after it. That means ensuring that people who come to the country are compatible with those beliefs

I believe this involves 2 things: first, encouraging more migration from places that share similar values & second, ensuring that those who do come to the country understand the terms they accepted when moving to the UK. “

“It’s not about bringing the culture of the other place & turning into the place that you just come from. If I wanted to live in Nigeria, I would have moved back to Nigeria. I don’t want to recreate Nigeria in the UK

I think there are many people who come from countries where they want to recreate what they are familiar with in the UK, that’s bad for social cohesion and it’s bad for the very things that made Britain what is it.

All of those things that I call labour values — freedom of speech, equality, being treated the same no matter who you are, wether you are the poorest person or the richest person, the presumption of innocence, something that is thrown away with cancel culture.

I know what it’s like to live in a place that doesn’t have these things, so it’s very precious and I will di3 to protect those things. I don’t want the UK being turned into the sort of place that everyone is running from, somebody has to defend it.” [CONTINUE READING HERE]>>>>>
